This lady has some great tips. She does mention presentations being "overdone with powerpoint". I'm not necessarily agreeing with this totally. I do like that she says create your presentation with the listener in mind. What are they truly going to get from what you say. Is it something that can be posted online or in a handout? Will they feel overloaded when they leave, or excited that their child will have an awesome, fun teacher this year?
